Business English
This advanced level course covers a wide range of business language skills, including presentations, public speaking, consultant interviews, problem solving, networking and debates. Students will be introduced to structures, expressions and vocabulary in specific business situations. They will also undertake several case studies that may help improve not only their English language skills, but business tactics as well.
Widely regarded as the language of international business, English is essential to today's commercial environment, both for companies seeking to trade overseas and for employees wishing to develop careers in global industries.
Some of the topics covered in the Business English syllabus include speaking naturally in social situations, replying to formal invitations, telephone strategies, negotiating, corresponding by e-mail, and understanding commercial documents, reports and letters.
