English for Academic Purposes
The EAP course will equip students with the skills needed to pursue academic development through English. For students who need to take IELTS, we recommend our IELTS exam preparation course. This EAP course is similar to the IELTS exam course as both prepare students to use language effectively for further study.
A Needs Analysis is the starting point of our EAP course and teaching. On the basis of this analysis, the teacher and learner can negotiate a personalised scheme of work specific to the leaner’s needs.
Some of the areas covered in this EAP course are, presentations, discussions, note taking, academic reading techniques, lecture comprehension and academic specific writing tasks which prepare learners for academic pursuits.
