EEA Nationals and Switzerland

Students from the European Economic Area and Switzerland can work without restriction in UK.

Non-EEA Nationals

If you come from outside the European Economic Area you will normally be allowed to work for up to either 10 or 20 hours per week (depending on your course of study) during term time and full time during vacation. You should also note that in order to satisfy immigration requirements, you will have to show that you have enough money to support yourself without needing to work in the UK.
